“Old Man Essentials” is not an Old Spice ad but the title of the first European solo show of Felix Beaudry. At Ghent’s Tatjana Pieters Gallery, the California-born , Brooklyn-based artist explores the gap between intimacy and space through a practice that centers around knitting. While he primarily works with fabric, drawing and painting are at the foundation of his process.

In the exhibition RE:ANKER, the Antwerp artist explores themes such as heritage and folk culture, creating ways to reconnect things that have become disconnected by the passing of time, through language, memory and narrative.
