Open studio & artist talk: Lisa Lapierre and Rachel Monosov at Dusangneuf Osangsett

After several weeks of residency at Dusangneuf Osangsett, a project initiated by The Word Magazine with the goal to support young, emerging artists, French-born photographer Lisa Lapierre and Russian visual artist Rachel Monosov invite you to discover the result this Thursday with a tour through their studios and artist talks.
Exhibition: Hommage at Bozar

No less than 900 artists submitted works of all kinds exploring the theme “Hommage”, examining the question of how to pay tribute to a person, place, or work of art. A jury now selected the 40 best contributions, which you can check out at Brussels’ Bozar this week. With creations crossing all genres by Eva Giolo, Agnes Baeten, Roel Scheys, and many others.

Performance meets photography: Corpus at Studio Baxton

Studio Baxton, Brussels’ specialist for wet plate photography, invites you to the opening of “Corpus”, an exhibition featuring the ethereal, mysterious works of French-born photographer Aëla Labbé, who is also a trained dancer. At the opening this Friday she will bring both genres together, staging a dance performance that was especially developed for the expo together with Bára Sigfúsdóttir and Stéphane Imbert.

After last year’s first, successful edition at Be-Part, the art book fair is back, this time at 019 in Ghent’s dock area. The fair unites about 45 Belgian and international independent publishers, and also features signings, lectures, art performances and a kids corner.
