Opening: 100% Wool at Rhizome

Opens Saturday, 18 May, 14-18h00 Kortrijk

What if an artwork becomes too unsettling to live with? Sparked by a collector’s decision to auction off a piece that had crossed that line, Belgian artist Egon Van Herreweghe presents “100% Wool”, a new solo exhibition exploring artistic presence and discomfort. Hosted at Rhizome in Kortrijk – a non-profit platform championing connective thinking – the show is curated by Simon Delobel in collaboration with Kiosk Ghent, and questions the very idea of authorship in contemporary art.
