This year will be the second time that New York’s Independent art fair descends on Brussels – quite the stamp of approval for Belgium as a major international art location. The first edition last year was a huge success, at least speaking in terms of public and critical reception. Here’s the exhibitors list for 2017. Looking forward!

“Don’t miss Belgium’s underrated second city” is the title of an article published by the NY Post this month. We never felt that the country’s fashion capital has been undervalued though – quite the opposite. Anyway, it’s a nice overview and features some of our own favorites from Fiskebar to FOMU!
Belgian band Kings of Edelgran, who describe themselves as a “polar indie rock” outfit, have a penchant for deserted, nordic landscapes and gorgeous soundscapes that marry folk with post rock. Check out their brand new video here:
