For this one a number of independent artistic players including Belgian art spaces Etablissement d’en face, La Loge and Komplot as well as Ghent’s KASK art school were given carte blanche. The result is a highly interesting exhibition uniting 104 works, 74 artists and 25 curators, shining a light on the greatly connected contemporary art scenes around Europe with its current developments and conversations. Music festival: Pukkelpop 2018

This week sees a new edition of the beloved Pukkelpop festival, which gives you the full big-sized festival experience while still being easier to navigate than Werchter, for example.

Food: Vegan Summer Fest 2018

Not only for vegans: this massive food festival championing cruelty-free nutrition brings together a great selection of vegan food trucks and food stalls, combined with music, cooking demonstrations and talks on the subject. It’s the biggest of its kind in the Benelux.
