- Good Mexican food is hard to come by in Belgium, which is why Mexico native Selene and her Belgian boyfriend launched the Taco Mobil last year, an authentic, super delicious taco eatery on the move. Their dream is to buy a proper food truck, and you can help them finance it by supporting their crowdfunding campaign here.
- A lot has already been said about Chantal Akerman‘s tragic death in the last week, but this article by her good friend Henry Bean and this one published by The New Yorker are really worth your time. RIP…
- There’s a new web magazine in town: “Behind The Blinds”, a Brussels-based online publication championing fashion-heavy content with a focus on the visual. A must-read: an interview with Belgian artist Eric Croes, featuring 10 questions asked by 10 different art world personalities and friends.
- If you happen to be in London before December 9th, do make sure to check out The Gap at Parasol unit, a group exhibition curated by no other than Belgian painting star Luc Tuymans presenting abstract art from Belgium. More details here.
