Brussels’ Galeries, one of the city’s major independent cinemas, has a real treat in store for movie fans: the coming weeks it’s all about American cult director David Lynch, whose mysterious crime series Twin Peaks and cutting-edge feature films such as Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive have become absolute classics. On offer is not only “Small Stories”, an exhibition showcasing a selection of photographs by the artistic multi-talent, but also a full-fledged retrospective bringing everything from Elephant Man to Inland Empire back to the big screen. And if you’re in for a little marathon, there’ll even be screenings of the entire two Twin Peaks seasons! It’s the perfect opportunity to refresh your memory before the release of the long awaited third season in 2016, which Lynch only revealed several weeks ago in a much-hyped twitter announcement. Find the full programme of the David Lynch retrospective here.
