Museum de Reede AntwerpAntwerp’s art scene keeps on growing: this month a brand new museum opened its doors for the very first time in the city’s historical center. It’s a private initiative by Dutch-born art collector Harry Rutten. The focus of Museum De Reede ‘s impressive collection lies on old masters such as Francisco Goya, Félicien Rops or Edvard Munch and their graphic works, shining a light on etchings, drawings and woodcuts, genres that sometimes don’t get the attention they deserve.

 

Ding magazine BelgiumD!NG magazine, founded by Belgian-born and now London-based Jolien Dirix, soon celebrates its 4th birthday. For the occasion, its makers plan a special anniversary edition, and you work might get featured too if you apply here before 27 June. Hurry up!

 

Brussels indie pop outfit Wild Shelter, who gave us their very first interview ever here, recently released a captivating video with a bit of a Wes Anderson feel to it directed by Recorders frontman Gordon Delacroix. “Feel The Way You Do” has been surfing the radio waves quite a lot this spring, even making it to the top of Pure Fm’s hit list.
